Actually, I’m not surprised that these characters are trying to find their way to the big screen. They are so needed now as we try and fight #racism and we cannot agree on basic things. The Cubbie Blue characters with their multiracial friends teach children to embrace diversity, and deal with social issues like bullying and disabilities such as blindness. It’s cool how Randa found a way to make a main character struggle with stuttering. If you’re planning to talk #diversity with any child you should visit her author page on Amazon and even take a listen at their audible versions. There are Spanish narration of them too!
